We're just getting started
Bonito Foundation was registered in late 2024, and we’re launching in autumn 2025 with a bold mission: to become the go-to editorial platform for the Football For Good movement.
We're writers, fans, and activists documenting a movement we believe in. We're building this from the ground up, and we're looking for volunteers who want to be part of something meaningful from day one.

Ways to contribute
Writers & Storytellers
What you'll do:
- Write features, interviews, and stories about Football For Good
- Cover individuals, organizations, and communities using football for social change
Who you are:
- You care deeply about sport as a tool for social impact
- You're a strong writer who can make stories come alive
- You're self-motivated and reliable
- You're excited to build something new from scratch
Content Creators
What you'll do:
- Create videos, photo essays, infographics, or social media content
- Document programs visually across different platforms
- Experiment with formats as we figure out what works
Who you are:
- You're skilled in video, photography, graphic design, or other media
- You see stories in different formats, not just words
- You're passionate about using your craft for social impact
- You're ready to pioneer new approaches with us
Data Scientists & Analysts
What you'll do:
- Analyze data about Football For Good programs and their impact
- Create visualizations that tell compelling stories
- Make research accessible to a broader audience – not just academics
Who you are:
- You're experienced with data analysis and visualization
- You can translate numbers into stories
- You're interested in football and sport-for-development research
- You're excited to bring data storytelling to this growing field
